When I was younger, I always wanted to be in a band, and was in one for a few years, but before that a lot of my drawings had to do with bands, musicians and creating imaginary bands.

It was about time I did some colour sheets for the two main protagonists of “Hiver Nucléaire”! For now, I like these colours but who knows in a week or two. It’s a limited palette but that’s what I like the most when I do colours. Recurring colours in between characters is a sure way to get a certain harmony. This also shows the difference of height and built between those two; now, Flavie was a bit chubbier on my sketch but I had to stretch her a bit if I didn’t want her to look like a kid. I’m still trying to figure out the proportions. Marco’s dressed as if he’s going to the convenience store next door and Flavie’s in full winter gear (without the charming ear muffs).
Anyway, this was super fun to do, just a quick colour job!
